Come join us on Wednesday, August 16 at the Beds for Kids warehouse in Southend. 

 

The Mission of Beds for Kids is: To provide beds and essential furniture to children and their families in need.
In 2010, a group of individuals led by Tim Rowley, delivered a few furniture pieces to a family who had recently moved out of a shelter in Charlotte, and into a home.  Realizing that this family was one of thousands who were moving into housing and were in need of beds and other essential furniture, the idea of Beds for Kids was born.

What to Expect:
There are multiple types of jobs that are typical including: cleaning furniture, moving and staging furniture, organizing and packing bed linens
What to Wear:
Clothing you can move in easily, along with closed-toe shoes.
Age Reguirement:
Each volunteer must be 15 or older.
