CoreNet Global is holding a series of Panel Discussions related to the complexities of outsourcing Facilities and Real Estate Services, for users of leased and owned portfolio of accommodation and property assets. The Panel will comprise of leading industry experts involved in the procurement of outsourcing contracts, and the focus of the panel discussions will include the following:

• Contract Structure: Should outsourcing be done in a single integrated property and facilities management contract or in a series of separate ‘best of breed’ contracts covering property, facilities, asset and other service contracts.
• Risk Transfer: How can ‘genuine’ risk transfer be structured into facilities maintenance and asset life-cycle management contracts, either partially or comprehensively?
• Self Delivery: Can elements of ‘self delivery’ of some service requirements be effectively accommodated within management and principal contracts? And what are the implications?
• MIS Platforms: In outsourcing contracts, which party should own and/or control the MIS platform used the manage the portfolio data and information for the property, facilities and other service management?
• Innovation Expectations: How can ‘future’ innovation of new technologies, like augmented reality, drones and similar, be accommodated in long term outsourced contracts if, currently, the full capabilities and value propositions of these technologies are uncertain?
