Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide is a key contributor to the amazing revival of Stamford's South End. The company's 2012 relocation from White Plains, N.Y., marked a major step in the district's ongoing evolution. Starwood's headquarters occupies 301,000 square feet near Stamford's waterfront. It brought some 800 jobs to the area.
Michael Schiff, Starwood's Vice President, Strategic Planning, Corporate Facilities, will discuss Starwood's site-selection and relocation strategies and will host a tour of the facility. We will see the "Starwood Experience" branding area, as well as a sample of the company's office design.
We will then adjourn for a networking cocktail reception, with light hors d'oeuvres, at Eclisse, just a few blocks away.
