We live in the heartland of Venture Capital. Venture Capital has such an impact on us all in so many ways, but most of us don’t really know how it works. In July, we have one of the founders of the Venture Capital firm Fifth Wall, Brad Greiwe, to present to us. Fifth Wall concentrates on real estate-focused technology companies and specializes in evaluating technology, identifying cultural shifts and turning potential threats into assets. With Real estate accounting for more of the U.S. economy than any other sector, it’s an area of immense opportunity. The session will be focused on two areas:1) The inner workings of Venture Capital and how it works (The show "Silicon Valley" isn’t 100% accurate about how it works) 2) A first hand look of the exciting and innovative ideas and technologies Fifth Wall is pursuing and why.
