As Corporate Real Estate professionals, our job is to stay educated on new ideas and concepts that can improve our business through workplace design and strategy.

When you determine a forward-thinking approach, how do you best demonstrate the value to senior level management and implement the practice?

Please join us on June 28th at 4:30pm for a tour and presentation at Moss Adams led by director of real estate and procurement Wade McIntyre.

Moss Adams is the 12th largest accounting firm in the US with 2,600 employees requiring a total of 536,000 square feet of real estate in 31 locations nationwide.  It is unique as a professional service company with traditional management that transitioned to a workplace strategy with an innovative free address concept along with establishing consistent playbooks and processes to implement this strategy across all geographies nationwide.  Our members will learn about the integrated real estate and workplace strategies used by Michael Dash at CBRE that will have an estimated $41 million dollar positive P&L impact and their partnership with Jonathan Bahe at NBBJ who drove design and implement the workplace strategy that is helping improve workplace morale and productivity.  In addition, Moss Adams senior leadership, and Regional Managing Partner David Shilling will provide insight on what compelled them to use this strategic approach and how their real estate is now working in collaboration with how they execute on their business.

The presentation is followed by a tour of a truly progressive, beautiful and energetic space.  Refreshments will be provided in “The Heart” of Moss Adams during the presentation and tour.

Meet the Speakers

Wade McIntyre, Director Real Estate and Procurement- Moss Adams

Wade joined Moss Adams in 2005 and has overseen the firm’s real estate portfolio since 2013. He has led the transformation from a decentralized approach of managing real estate to one that employs consistent processes and partnerships for going to market, selecting and designing space, managing construction projects, and administering leases. This model allows Moss Adams to better leverage both its buying power and brand.

Under Wade’s guidance, the firm has also embarked on a new workplace and change management initiative that moves from a traditional office design to one that embraces a progressive, flexible workspace in a smaller footprint. The results thus far have included a portfolio reduction of 54,000 RSF and $31 million in future real estate costs.
