The Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine opened a 183,500-sq.-ft. research facility in Farmington in October 2014.
The facility, next to the UConn Health Center, brought a prestigious institution to the state and will create jobs and drive economic activity in the area for years to come. We will hear a presentation on Jackson Labs' site-selection process and the role economic incentives played in the organization's decision to locate the facility in Connecticut. We will tour the LEED-certified building and adjourn for a networking reception.
