April Chapter Meeting: Autonomous Vehicles and Their Potential Impact on Corporate Real Estate

It’s been said that our children under the age of 6 will never drive a car. Experts from Bay Area companies involved in the autonomous vehicle industry (Samsung and Velodyne) will share their vision of what is possible in the near future. As those possibilities become reality, Annabel Chang, Lyft’s Director of Public Policy for the Western team, will discuss how we got here and what hurdles remained to be faced.  Lastly, Andy Cohen, one of two Gensler co-CEOs, will present on how these advancements will significantly impact real estate and impact the long term strategies of our portfolios.

Technologies Changing Corporate Real Estate

This three-part mini-series will explore the kaleidoscope of technologies already impacting our industry and how these innovations may affect our business models in the future. What are risks to being an early adopter and how do you differentiate the life changing technologies you must embrace from the others?
