CoreNet Summer Walk

When:  Aug 20, 2015 from 05:45 PM to 07:00 PM (UTC)
Associated with  United Kingdom
For this year’s summer walk we are switching from the west end to the east:  to Spitalfields and the eastern fringes of the City.

Starting at Liverpool Street Station, we will walk round the borders of Shoreditch and discover the old commercial edges of the City including the original East India Company warehouses and the Curtain, one of Shakespeare’s theatres, as well as more modern examples of London’s financial might.

Our guide is Neil Sinclair, of Footprints of London, a freelance business journalist who has written on finance, energy and transport for many well-known national publications including Lloyds’ List. A qualified official guide around London, he loves to inject as many amusing, entertaining and sometimes downright wacky anecdotes as possible into his guided walks, which are always entertaining and informative, usually good fun and never boring. He mixes history, architecture, art, literature and famous film locations into walks which always go way beyond the usual bland guidebook fare.
