Following our Annual Meeting, we are pleased to welcome Jan Johnson, Allsteel’s VP of Design and Workplace Resources as she shares information on Measuring Knowledge Worker Productivity. Building off of her well-received CoreNet Global Summit session from Philadelphia, Jan will review findings from a research project Allsteel sponsored to once and for all find “the holy grail” of workplace strategy: A broadly applicable, universal metric we can all use to measure knowledge worker productivity (if it even exists). The project uncovered six factors with the highest correlation to performance — Jan will provide best practices and examples she’s been collecting around strengthening each factor, which therefore strengthen knowledge worker performance.
SPEAKER
Jan Johnson, VP of Design and Workplace Resources, Allsteel
Jan Johnson is the VP of Design and Workplace Resources at Allsteel. Prior to joining Allsteel, she practiced as a contract interior designer for several years; then as a strategic planner and workplace consultant for Perkins+Will and HOK/Consulting (now Advance Strategies). While with HOK, she was on-site at Sun Microsystems for several years and led the team that developed Nortel Networks’ groundbreaking Workscape Improv program. Jan is highly respected as a workplace strategist, a frequent speaker, and an active member and content contributor to CoreNet’s Workplace Community and sits on the Knowledge Advisory Panel. She is on the faculty for the MCR program and regularly teaches all three of the MCR classes.
