he Independence Blue Cross (IBC) Building at 1901 Market Street has just completed a major modernization project. IBC wanted to upgrade their headquarters space to reflect their new brand and culture. As a long time lessee of the iconic IBC Tower (45 floors totaling 840,000 SF) a relocation was not a viable option. Instead IBC developed a 5 year modernization plan for their tower. The plan includes renovation of all office floors, the cafeteria, and the exterior and interior of the new lobby. A renovation of this size and caliber took months of careful planning, budgeting, and strategizing to ensure that all 3,400 employees faced minimal disruption.
The chapter will host a hands-on tour of the new tower on August 6th. We invite you to join us to hear how this effort was planned and how IBC has successfully achieved their goals. Following the tour will be a networking happy hour. Space is limited so register early!
