EVENT DESCRIPTION
Technology has undoubtedly transformed the way in which we work, play, connect and interface with the world. It’s fitting that a company at the forefront of that change, as Microsoft is, would continue to push the edges of innovation.
In September 2016, Microsoft’s northeast district of its Global Sales and Marketing Organization (GSMO) relocated from Kendall Square in Cambridge, MA to Burlington, MA. This Burlington Office expresses the new generation of workspace. Breaking away from the traditional office culture, Microsoft embraces the hospitality vibe, supports enriched connections, while inspiring creativity.
Microsoft examined three components:
• Workplace
• Customer Center
• Microsoft Tech Center
This session will explore some of the key business drivers that lead to the relocation of the groups mentioned above, how they solved their challenges and relocated to unite in their new environment.

Dena Quinn, Portfolio Manager, Northeast Sales District, New England R&D, Mid-Atlantic Public Sector at Microsoft
