Steve Maitland
Colliers International

Steve Maitland is Associate Director of commercial leasing for Colliers in Wellington. He was educated at Massey and has over 25 years’ experience in the Wellington leasing market, as well as being a born and bred Wellingtonian. Steve has assisted many organisations to secure alternate premises as a result of the Kairkoura and Seddon earthquakes.


Derek Baxter

Wellington City Council


Derek Baxter is the building intelligence manager at Wellington City Council. Derek was educated in Canberra, and his career has spanned the defence and public service sectors as well as a secondment as a ministerial advisor in the building sector. Derek is uniquely placed having worked in the central and local government sectors of building regulation.


David McGuigan

MBIE

David McGuigan is the acting chief engineer in the building system performance branch of MBIE. David is a qualified structural engineer, graduating from Canterbury University. He has an extensive knowledge of the regulatory environment surrounding building performance as well as an extensive private sector consulting engineering background.


Arno Percival

Jacobs

Arno Percival is principal structural design engineer at Jacobs. He was educated at Auckland University and has worked extensively in the private sector as a structural engineer including major infrastructure and building projects in the middle east.
