Hosted by Miranda James, Head of Corporate responsibility at Panuku Development Auckland. Miranda will discuss the building Lysaght building NABERSNZ rating, as well as Panuku’s ongoing energy efficiency plans.
 
The Lysaght building has been a part of the Auckland Waterfront history for the last 90 years. Undergoing a refurbishment and reopening in 2015. It has many great features, inlduing a  45 metre long lane will also run along the northern face of the building offering views through to Viaduct Harbour, and will include a raingarden for stormwater treatment. Currently occupied as an event and business community office space for GridAKL. Under Panuku Development, the Lysaght building achieved a 4.5 Star Base Building Rating – it goes to show that age, can still come before beauty!

Panuku Development

Miranda James is Head of Corporate Responsibility at Panuku Development Auckland. Her role includes helping define sustainability policy across Panuku project areas, and working alongside developers to implement it. In previous roles at EECA and the NZ Green Building Council, she worked closely with NABERSNZ and other commercial building performance tools.
