Fall has arrived and soon the snow will be falling, and the holidays will be upon us. The end of the year is the busiest time of the year for the chapter. The Community Outreach committee has coordinated a couple of community outreach events in November, see announcements on the web site to sign up. In addition, our annual gala will be held on December 13th from 3:30-6:30 p.m. at the Walker Art Museum. The Gala Committee, led by Jennifer Somers, has been working hard to create a fun event for the chapter. This event is our largest event of the year, and we hope you will take a break from working from home and treat yourself to an evening out. Yes, you may have to change out of your sweatpants, but business casual will be perfectly acceptable this year!
This time of the year also begins the drive for new members and sponsors for the 2022 calendar year. Dan Herman leads our Sponsorship Committee and Scott Gilbertson leads our Membership Committee. Both committees will be busy reaching out to existing and new potential sponsors/members in the coming weeks. If your firm desires to continue or become a sponsor/member, we encourage you to be proactive and reach out directly to Dan, Scott and/or Jordan Grote. Sponsorship/Membership benefits and costs are attached here or can be found under the “Sponsorship” or “Membership” tabs on the chapter website. There are several new incentives in place for members including the following:
- Prorated dues based on the first month of purchase; if you join after July 1, it includes current year + next year.
- Referral discount code (15% off) -- use code REMW15
- Trial membership option- try before you buy- CLICK HERE
- Deals to join and go to conference at a discount- CLICK HERE
- Members in Transition Program- CLICK HERE
The end of the year is also the time we select our board members for the upcoming 2022 year. If you are interested, or know of someone who is interested, please offer up a name to Jordan Grote
who will pass it along to the board. We welcome new volunteer leadership as you are critical to the chapter’s ongoing success!
On behalf of the CoreNet Midwest Board, thank you for your continued interest in growing your network and your knowledge base within the corporate real estate industry.
