We are excited to announce that after receiving many superb submissions to CoreNet Global NZ’s inaugural Proactive Property Award, our panel of eminent judges have revealed three shortlisted finalists. They are:
1. BNZ – OUT OF ADVERSITY COMES OPPORTUNITY
Following the devastating Kaikoura earthquake, BNZ Properties faced monumental business continuity challenges responding to not just the severely damaged 20,000sqm Wellington BNZ Headquarters building, but also the immediate large-scale logistics, negotiations, communications, facilities and management involved in securing emergency workplace accommodation for more than 1500 displaced staff. The BNZ Property Team’s response to this emergency resulted in an innovative new concept: Partners Centre.
2. BIZ DOJO - NATIONAL COWORKING FIT OUT In a world where great risks can bring extraordinary rewards, two businesses were united by fate and bought together by destiny. Somewhere between height-adjustable desks and streetfighter arcade games, an elite Furnitry squad succeeded beyond their wildest dreams in delivering a comprehensive single source solution.
3. HOUSING NZ - TRANSFORMING HOUSING NZ’S PORTFOLIO THE SIMPLE-CM WAY!
From perfect storm to world class design and value, Housing NZ has transformed its portfolio by combining two extremes of innovation - the Simple Guide and Capacity Modelling Machine - to improve social outcomes and 1000-1 ROI: the most successful property project you’ve never heard about.
Nigel Rye, Director of the New Zealand chapter of CoreNet Global, said: “We know that property professionals come up with some pretty amazing solutions, and I’d like to thank all the people who took the time to submit what was a highly inspiring range of entries. All of the entries were at a seriously high standard.
“The judges were particularly impressed by the quality, breadth and ambition of the outcomes our finalists have showcased in the real estate solutions they have created to solve their organisations’ challenges. I don’t envy them their job in choosing a winner!”
The three shortlisted finalists will now present to the judges on 20thSeptember, ahead of a final decision and official presentation of the award at an event on Thursday 27th September 5-7pm at Generator Britomart Place in Auckland.
