CoreNet Global’s Young Leaders invites you to discuss another issue facing many real estate professionals today: “What are the challenges surrounding transaction negotiations abroad?” Presenters will recount their experiences in conducting real estate transactions around the world, and highlight the challenges they have come across. Join in to hear seasoned professionals discuss the cultural differences and business customs surrounding business processes abroad. Through the program, panelists with extensive expertise in Asia, EMEA, and Latin America will discuss such topics as lease structure, negotiations, language barriers and other communication challenges, brokerage, and relationship dynamics among others. The program will consist of a general overview of the main issues surrounding foreign transactions, and a deeper dive into region-specific obstacles. The discussion will be followed with a Q&A portion, during which participants will have an opportunity to ask the panelists specific questions on the covered topics.
