CRC - Junior Achievement
"Developing Young Leaders for Economic Success"
The Community Reinvestment Challenge (CRC), a CoreNet Global charity effort that helps and reinvests in local communities, will once again come together at the San Diego Summit. On Saturday and Sunday, April 28 -29, join fellow CoreNet Global members and friends as we support the Junior Achievement (JA) of San Diego. JA of San Diego provides financial literacy education that empowers young people to own their economic success and prepare them to succeed in the global economy.
During the 2011-2012 school year, over 45,000 kindergarten through 12th grade students will benefit from a Junior Achievement experience. In addition to JA's Frontier Trading Free Enterprise Center established in 2006, JA announced a new experiential learning program for teenagers, JA Finance Park - a reality-based, hands-on simulation that enables them to build foundations for making intelligent, life-long personal finance decisions and develop a realistic understanding of the economic issues.
Join fellow CoreNet Global members and friends make a difference at JA on Saturday and Sunday, April 28 - 29. The project scope includes:
- painting the inside and outside of JA's headquarters
- landscaping around JA's new hillside solar panels
- refurbishing/updating JA BizTown
- preparing for the ground breaking of JA Finance Park
