William currently serves as the Global Chief Operating Officer of CBRE Inc.'s Transaction and Portfolio Services Group. As a member of the Global Leadership team, William works closely with corporate real estate clients, CBRE account teams and corporate real estate professionals on a worldwide basis to design, develop and deploy strategic program models, delivery systems and customized service solutions to occupiers and end-users. In this role, William leads or supports transition projects, conducts process development or improvement initiatives and consults on transaction management technologies that deliver superior workplace results for CBRE clients.
Prior to his current role on the Leadership Team, William spent three years as a transaction manager negotiating and executing multi-market corporate real estate transactions for institutional, mid-cap, and private equity clients, regularly acting in an agency capacity (both as Landlord/Seller and Tenant/Buyer Representative). His responsibilities included interfacing with CBRE’s cross-functional service lines and third party entities to complete assignments across the globe. William helped create and implement portfolio management strategies and provided support services to corporate real estate decision makers and portfolio managers.
William previously managed operations for the CBRE Capital Markets Institutional Group based in Dallas. Over a three year period, he was involved in the marketing and successful close of over 200 investment sales transactions exceeding $5B in consideration. While in Dallas, William also served on company-wide working groups to help develop industry-leading technology solutions for the Investment Properties Group. William joined the company in 2004. William’s prior professional experience includes analyzing, tracking, and researching office and industrial market performance, strategy consulting, and business development.
