Job Description:
Internships are available for university students during any year of their studies for the following disciplines:
• Project Management
• Quantity Surveying – Cost Consultancy Interns will work on challenging projects throughout their placement, and the line manager will provide clear responsibilities to develop skills and experience.

Strong performance on the internship program can lead to further employment and opportunities with Mace.

Responsibilities:
Assists the Lead Cost Consultant on a range of tasks, including: Estimating and producing cost plans Checking costs Conducting valuations Analysing final accounts figures Measurement exercises, including the preparation of schedules of quantities for building elements Drafting procurement documentation, monthly reports, tender reports Involvement in tender process Assisting with variations and change control processes, negotiating less financially significant or complex matters

Requirements:
• A minimum 3.2 grade point average
• Grades B or higher in Math and English
• Authorization to work in the US
• A passion for a construction industry career
• Evidence of key skills developed from work experience or extracurricular activity

Compensation:  $16 - $18 / hour

Start / End Dates:  January 2020 - May 2020
