We are living in an age where technology allows us to work anywhere and the workplace has shifted from a passive, fixed environment to an active, flexible tool. Workplaces are rapidly transitioning to flexible, unassigned and agile working models, offering enhanced mobility and degrees of choice in where and with whom you work.

It is well known that the physical environment of the office can positively or negatively contribute to an employees’ job-related attitudes and wellbeing. This, in turn, can impact organisational outcomes. Yet, research on the individual and organisational outcomes relating to unassigned and flexible workstyles is limited and has mixed findings.

The purpose of this event is to connect current academic research, industry practitioners and workplace end users. Together, speakers will provide different insights into on how physical environments can improve, or compromise, work experience and wellbeing and the impacts this can have for an organisation.
