Strategic Portfolio Planning for an Employee Centric Future

When:  Feb 3, 2022 from 05:30 PM to 06:45 PM (UTC)
Associated with  United Kingdom

Corporate Business strategy has changed over the course of the last 2 years. Moving from a largely cost driven culture of presenteeism to intentional, competitive, sustainable, virtual, employee centric and a focus on attraction and retention of talent.

Corporate Real Estate Strategy needs to react from what was sometimes a fragmented, locally managed portfolio or location optimisation programme to a focus aligned with new Business Strategy.

Data & Analytics capabilities have evolved. This has allowed CRE strategy to mature with the right integration of tech solutions and the necessary upskilling of informed CRE professionals.

Strategic thinking and decision making must now adapt from cost-based optimisation strategies driven by critical date reviews, mark to market assessments of cost and subjective views of utilisation. Forward looking decisions can be made to maximise employee experience whilst ensuring the appropriate portfolio agility (traditional, flex, home) to limit surplus space.

Execution and Handover will improve and develop to continue to go beyond real estate and include synchronisation with business operations and facilities. Quantifying the link between Corporate Real Estate, to company performance talent retention, productivity and wellbeing which will only be possible in cooperation with teams across the entire organisation.

This event will look to the future of Strategic Portfolio Planning through the lens of the above developments.
