The Rise of Suburbia - Is the Hub & Spoke model realistic?

When:  Mar 4, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM (UTC)
Associated with  United Kingdom

The disruption to the CRE market over the last 9 months has seen the market question the very future of the office.  A recurring theme among the speculation has been the "hub and spoke" model and whether the market will move to a "dispersed portfolio" encompassing a greater diversity of locations.

There has been a definitive surge in demand for flex workspace across the regional markets since March. But is this indicative of a shift to hub + spoke or something else?

Utilising multiple, layered data sets, we have assessed demand for conventional and flex office space across the UK (and globally) in suburban and tertiary markets. These numbers, combined with workforce data, commute times, office supply and even housing statistics provided a view as to whether hub + spoke is viable as a strategy and, very pertinently, whether the workspace market can support growth in these areas.
