COMMUNITY REINVESTMENT COMMITTEE
|
 |
Sally Maxwell, IBM
Scott Kirk, RJT+R
The Community Reinvestment Committee focuses on giving back to the Atlanta Community. Early in the year, we host a Junior Achievement Day at Ronald McNair Learning Academy. This day of teaching is one of the most enjoyable and satisfying contributions we make each year. We also support The Nicholas House, a homeless shelter for families located in the Grant Park neighborhood.
We provide and serve dinner to the residents the first Tuesday of each month, and also plan to schedule several workdays throughout the year for doing yard work, painting, and other repairs that need to be done around the house.

| NETWORKING |
 |
Karen League, S/L/A/M Collaborative
Kelly Evans, CBRE
This Networking Committee meets on a regular basis to discuss ideas and themes for our popular Networking Events. This committee has encouraged leadership within the Atlanta Chapter by having members volunteer to be a “champion” for each event. The champion volunteers to plan and coordinate one Networking Event during the year from selecting the location, menu and writing the description of the event for our Communications Committee to broadcast to the membership. Committee members also work closely with the Golf Tournament Committee. This requires coordinating volunteers for the Annual Golf Tournament and Networking event that follows. |
