Corporate Real Estate Controls Intern - Spring 2020
Be a part of an innovative team and culture…
The position is within the Controls department of Corporate Real Estate. This group works closely with
Project Management in financial management and construction accounting of all real estate-related capital projects.
Responsibilities :
A Day in the Life…
Support for the set-up and maintenance of project Development Cost Reporting
Tracking of contract commitments and invoice documentation for project costs
Assist with monitoring of financial projects
Other responsibilities related to real estate project finance may be added as needed
Basic Qualifications :
What we are looking for…
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Strong analytical skills
Self-motivated, with the ability to work without close-supervision
MS Excel (intermediate to advanced)
An interest in learning about the financial management of real estate-related projects
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong computer and technical skills
SAP
Required Education :
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or equivalent
Preferred Education :
Experience or academic coursework in the following fields is preferred:
Real estate finance
Construction accounting
Real estate development
Additional Information :
Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past six (6) months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
Must possess unrestricted work authorization
Program Dates:
Interns must be fully available from
January 2020 to June 2020.
Housing
: Interns must provide their own housing for the duration of their internship program.
Transportation
: Interns must have reliable transportation to get to and from work for the duration of their internship program.
