Mission
To attract and retain CoreNet Global members of the Southwest Chapter by strategically creating and organizing educational, networking, community service, and Young Leaders’ programs.
Main Committee Activities
- Tours of current, key corporate client sites
- Organizers of the CoreNet golf tournament, clay shoot and other fundraisers
- Organize and support programs with partnering states such as Oklahoma and Arkansas
- Plan half day educational programs centered around relevant real estate topics
- Plan and execute annual CRC lunch and fundraiser for chosen charitable community partner
- Plan and execute CRC workday with chosen charitable community partner
- Purposefully partner with other local real estate organizations through co-hosted programs such as ULI, NAIOP, TREC, NTCAR, etc
- Develop future leaders of CoreNet Southwest by creating a separate Young Leaders group. Their goal is to create synergies among their members, and provide resources for career direction through seasoned CoreNet members. Their outreach programs create opportunities to network and learn about various real estate associations in the DFW area. Support all CoreNet Summits
- Plan and organize social events as determined by the Board
- Closely work with the Treasurer in planning and projecting costs to maintain annual budget
- Assist in organizing Board retreat
- Assist other committees in their special event needs
Need to Know
Depending on the events at hand, we meet either weekly or on a bi-monthly basis to further our event planning activities. Successful event planning requires a plan, assigned tasks and completion dates that are the responsibility of the entire team – the common denominator is teamwork.
