‘The Best of Commercial Architecture in Mayfair’
This evening tour takes a look at some of the best contemporary and historic buildings in London’s Mayfair. Structured around Piccadilly and Bond Street, we will look at the Renaissance of glazed terracotta cladding in two new projects by Eric Parry Architects, and tell the story about this area’s finest commercial architecture from the 19 and 20 centuries. New discoveries and insights into old favourites, this architectural tour is a must for people involved in London’s commercial architecture scene. 1- 1/2 hours hours. Followed by light refreshments in a local hostelry.
Led by Benedict O’Looney RIBA, architect and lecturer in London’s architecture history.
