With the release of the Exposure Draft on August 17th, 2010, we are one step closer to a final standard.
The Exposure Draft includes details on the proposed changes to lease accounting, which will force most leases to be capitalized on the balance sheets. A deadline for further comment on the Draft has been set for 15 December 2010.
