         CoreNet Global CRC

In October 2002, the CoreNet Global Board of Directors unanimously voted to make the Community Reinvestment Challenge (CRC) a core tenet of the association. The CRC was created in order to invest a portion of our members' cumulative talents, resources and actions in Community Reinvestment initiatives. In partnership with its network of local Chapters, CoreNet Global will be a catalyst for enabling significant contributions to improving local communities worldwide.

Ownership of the program was moved to the chapters, and a global CRC Core Team was formed to assist local chapters in ongoing community reinvestment efforts as well as events held in conjunction with CoreNet Global summits.

By redirecting the impetus from the corporate level to the local chapters, CoreNet Global offers each chapter an opportunity to develop lasting and meaningful involvement in the communities in which its members live and work.
