The energy and excitement that ushered in 2013 at our January event at Top of the Rock continues to build momentum as we move further into the new year. The chapter already has held a dynamic “Meet & Greet” for the Young Leaders group, offered an outstanding Women’s SIG event, and hosted an expert panel on lessons learned from Hurricane Sandy. Most recently, members and guests gathered for one of the most important real estate events of the year – the annual dinner, which was on March 14 at the incredible Museum of Natural History. This not-to-be-missed occasion offered members the opportunity to network and socialize within one of the world’s greatest cultural and educational institutions. Thanks to the hard work of the annual dinner committee, the dinner was a huge success.
And much more is in store in 2013. The board is intensely focused on strengthening our communications strategy. We will release a new mobile app, which will keep CoreNet information right at your fingertips. Additionally, we have plans to update the chapter’s website, making it easier for members to obtain timely information about chapter events, industry insights and more.
The 2013 calendar is filling up fast with activities and events for everyone. So, I encourage you to be engaged, participate in events, volunteer and share your ideas.
