Volunteer Opportunities

There are many ways to become involved with CoreNet Global New York City Chapter.  Below is a list of Committees which offer volunteering opportunities for CoreNet members.  If you are interested in volunteering for a committee, download and fill out the below form and email it to info@corenetglobalnyc.org or fax it to 212-450-7301 ATTN: CoreNet Global NYC Chapter.

Administration

The Administration committee coordinates all administrative functions of the Chapter and ensures that the marketing strategy and tools are dynamic and consistent amongst all media and within each committee. They also coordinate the placement of articles, news releases and ads in business and trade publications and maintain relationships with editors. Also included as part of the committee’s function is the creation and implementation of the Chapter’s Newsletter, E-News, E-blasts, Chapter Website and annual Awards Submissions.


Communities


CoreNet Global Communities are forums for ongoing collaboration among CoreNet Global members to share critical knowledge and discover solutions to common problems.  The two communities within the New York City Chapter are the Sustainability Community and the Strategy and Portfolio Planning Community.  To learn more about each community, click on the "Committees" tab at top of the page.


Membership Committee

The Membership Committee works with the CoreNet Global membership group to ensure that the members and prospects lists are kept up to date. They connect with new members and encourage participation in the chapter and encourage prospective members to join the chapter. Organizes new member events and orientation and actively work to increase chapter membership.

Programs Committee

"To plan and deliver provocative programs that spur innovative thinking, and supports corporate real estate professional advancement through focus on relevant and timely topics."

Special Events Committee

The Special Events committee organizes and hosts the largest annual chapter events including: the Annual Dinner, Golf Outing and Holiday Party.

Special Interest Groups

Special Interest Groups (SIG's) are industry-focused discussion groups which meet in roundtable format on a quarterly basis.

Sponsorship Committee

The Sponsorship Committee is responsible for implementation of the annual sponsorship campaign as well as maintaining relationships with the sponsors throughout the year.


Workshops Committee

"The Workshops Committee has two primary goals: first, to design and implement chapter-level learning workshops, and second, to act as a resource center and advocate for the CoreNet Global learning programs."
