Overview:  The Program Committee provides an opportunity to interact with key professionals in the real estate industry on a one-on-one basis by coordinating activities that expands your industry network and broadens your perspective on the matters facing the industry today.

Program Chair Responsibilities:

  • Act as unifying networking resource for program‐focused volunteers and members.
  • Establish and maintain a budget for the program.
  • Develop programs for the year to enhance the corporate real estate profession
  • Ensure at least one-third of all yearly programs are educational in nature and targeted to the professional development needs of corporate real estate executives.
  • Ensure appropriate marketing materials, speaker arrangements and any additional program details are accounted for.
  • Coordinate with the Executive Committee to provide guidance for the programming content.

Committee Details:

  • Work as a team to design programs and activities to appeal to as much of our target audience to encourage membership participation in Chapter functions by surveying membership, examining the trends of the industry and discussing changes with top real estate professionals.
  • Secure experts in the field to present and execute the program.
  • Effectively manage educational programs through timely and accurate marketing and provide educational options, program surveys and continuing education forms to all members and attendees.
  • Work to ensure that at least 30 percent of all programs are educational, tailored towards the needs of the corporate real estate executives
  • Coordinate the venue logistics, catering, and speakers, in addition to any other necessary event-planning.
  • Coordinate with Board members, CoreNet Global Chapter Managers and other volunteers within the Chapter to ensure that registration information is accounted for.
  • Correlate site locations of meetings to accommodate members of the Bay Area and ensure that the sites are fair and agreeable.
