President's Message

Welcome to the
CoreNet Ohio/Kentucky Chapter!

It’s an exciting time to be part of the CoreNet Global OH/KY Chapter!

Several weeks ago, I represented you, our members, in Atlanta, GA at the annual Chapter Leaders Conference. All but two global chapters were represented! The insights provided will help the OH/KY Chapter more closely align with CoreNet Global (CNG).

Valuable time was spent sharing with other CNG Chapters. Everyone I met was offering assistance where practical and encouraging of each other. It was a remarkably enlightening two days. Along with many others, I was fortunate to spend time with leaders from the Northern and Southern California, Midwest, and Carolinas Chapters. They face similar “geographic” challenges to OH/KY.  The format of the Chapter Leaders Conference allowed each leader to share what their Chapter does to engage members, create outstanding programs, and focus the membership.

You may be aware that CNG embarked on an 18-month Future Forward 2025 initiative in 2017. As an Association mostly led by volunteers at the Chapter level, understanding how to best prepare, respond, and navigate the changing world around us is essential IF we plan to be relevant beyond today. Ten (continuing and anticipated) Influential Drivers of Change were outlined through global, national, chapter, and personal lenses. We all play a role as a member of CoreNet Global. Envisioning the association model of the future in four key areas – Belonging, Convening, Learning, and Information and Content – was reported earlier this year. Please take time to read this important information! []

I believe that I speak for your entire Chapter Board when I say “It is an honor to serve you in this capacity.” You will find our contact information on the Chapter website.  If you would like to learn more about the Chapter Board and our current efforts on your behalf, please watch this video below.

On behalf of the CoreNet Global OH/KY Chapter,
