Chairperson's Message

Message From the Chair

Dear CoreNet New York City Members,

We are delighted to introduce our esteemed 2024 CoreNet Board Members, Content Council, and Advisors. Together, they form a team of some of the most talented, dedicated, and respected professionals in the corporate real estate industry.  It is my honor to continue serving the NYC Chapter by moving into the role of Chair this year and partnering with our many devoted members, who represent the best that New York City has to offer. I am particularly excited about continuing our work with our steadfast volunteers and dedicated sponsors, whose support is indispensable to the success of CoreNet's initiatives.

First I’d like to take this opportunity to thank our former Chair, Alison Kwiatkowski for her remarkable contributions to our Chapter.  Throughout her tenure, Alison demonstrated exceptional leadership, guiding all our members with distinction.  Her leadership of the Young Leaders committee, the first Chair of the Programming and Outreach committee and her 3 years on Chapter leadership were instrumental in keeping the New York City Chapter thriving.  With big shoes to fill, I hope to build upon her legacy.

Last year, CoreNet NYC was poised for an exciting resurgence with our return to in-person events, and our Chapter leadership was actively exploring innovative ways to engage the broader New York industry. From attracting professionals at varying career stages to establishing new volunteering and special interest groups, and pioneering new programs and workshops, our Chapter remains dedicated to implementing the innovative ideas we've developed.  As we continue to navigate a challenging market in several respects, the Board is committed to enhancing the value proposition for all CoreNet members by diversifying content, delivery methods, and member involvement, ensuring inclusivity for members from underrepresented industries and emerging CRE roles. Together, we will continue to evolve and redefine both our Chapter and New York City to make sure CoreNet New York City chapter is the pillar organization in our industry and city.

If you are interested in becoming more involved in CoreNet NYC, please don't hesitate to reach out to me or any of our Board Members. We welcome feedback from all our members on how we can further enhance your experience.

Once again, I extend my sincere thanks to our Annual Sponsors, Committee Volunteers, and Members. Your ongoing enthusiasm and support enable us to foster our community and drive progress in the corporate real estate industry of New York City, the global hub of real estate. I eagerly anticipate a successful year ahead and hope to see you at one of our premier events soon.
